An informed patient is a great patient. The more educated one is as to the treatment that will be provided, the better it will be for the patient and the dental team. It is incumbent upon the doctors to explain procedures, discuss “risk vs. reward”, and devise a treatment plan tailored to the specific needs of that patient.
