Biography
Dr. Deidre East Guerrettaz returned to Indianapolis in 1991 after practicing pediatric and family dentistry in Janesville, Wisconsin, for six years. She opened her own practice in Broad Ripple for three years prior to assuming Dr. John Carmody’s practice on his retirement.
She received the Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University in molecular biology and the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, after spending the first year of dental studies at the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Guerrettaz and her husband have five children ages 36, 34, 29, 27, 25.
Dr. Guerrettaz currently serves as Vice President of the Indiana Academy of General Dentistry, and is a 2009 graduate of the prestigious Gordon J. Christensen mentorship program.
Though having treated patients for over thirty years, Dr. Guerrettaz has retained three experienced dental assistants who help with the patient treatment. Her current dental assistant, Nikki is highly experienced and has cared for the practices’ patients for over 14 years.
